Fun all around

Danyell is in concert choir this year at school. She was not originally in concert choir but the teacher moved her to the concert choir. On Monday the 8th the choir went to University Mall and did a half hour program for all of the Christmas shoppers.

On Wednesday Tyler was presented with his star rank for the Boy Scouts. He only has two merit badges left to earn his Life rank and then Eagle is next. We are very proud of Tyler for this accomplishment.

Friday was the ward party. The theme was Christmas in Nauvoo. Different rooms were set up as stores from Nauvoo. The program was a Christmas Day from the Prophet Joseph Smith. They read a entry that the Prophet had recorded in his journal describing a Christmas day he had with his family and friends.

On Saturday we went to Perry for the Evans family Christmas party. We had a snow storm about mid day. So when we left the freeways were a mess. It took 45 minuets to go 4 miles and there were several accidents. From Provo to Brigham was not to bad the roads were plowed and salted. We stopped and picked up Dustin for the evening. We had dinner and the kids played a few games at the party. Then we went to Willard bay to see the lights.

After that we took Dustin back to the Weber Basin Job Corps. We had a nice evening with him. He will be graduating from Job Corp in March. He is currently working with the Navy and will be going to boot camp in June.

Today Danyell was set apart as the secretary of the Beehives. This is her first church calling and we are very excited about this. Also Grandma Rose and Stephanie came over. We had dinner and played Scrabble.
